TEAM CANADA SELECTION CAMP

NATIONAL TEAM SELECTION PROCESS

Currently we have our 2023 Canadian National Champions serving as the first four members of Team Canada for the 2024-2025 season. These players are: Blake Bosak, Etienne Cote, Kim Aspirot, and Genevieve Tardy.

ALL players from provinces across the national are invited to come out and participate in the RC Selection Camp to earn a spot on Team Canada. The main competition will be the IRF 2024 World Championships in London, UK. 10 male athletes and 10 female athletes will be selected to represent Team Canada after evaluations with selection camp results, assessments, testings, interviews, player history and mashup reviews (with the first 2 male and female spots being earned, 8 spots per category will be up for grabs on this special weekend.

This is a huge opportunity for ALL players to come out and compete against the best, learn from one another and connect as a community of leaders in the sport. For more information regarding the details and to sign up for the selection camp, please visit the link above.

SELECTION PANEL

Roundnet Canada will select members in order to assist with the selection process for our national teams. Members will be selected based off experience and geographic location in order to assure a fair selection process. *Please note, no pairings have been decided for Worlds, nor will be decided based on this event.

For just $138 per night, the University of Ottawa has Two-bedrooms suites of Two double beds sleeping up to 4 people with Private bathroom and Kitchenette with microwave and fridge. We will supply water, sports drinks, fruit, and other snacks on a self-serve basis at the field. As for your meals there are various resturants at the Byward Market which is just a 8min walk from residences.

Parking on campus is available for cars on a first come-first-serve basis, at additional fees. But if staying on campus residences the field is just 15min walk or 6min drive.

$80 per player for the 2-day event with a required 2024 Roundnet Canada membership which allows players to play in ALL provincial circuits sanctioned by Roundnet Canada. Selection Camp fee includes a RC Selection Camp T-Shirt (to the 1st 80 players / 40 teams to sign up).
